Story
Life hasn't been easy for Higuchi Kotarou: his mother died when he was young and his father often isn't around because of work. When he meets his new neighbor Misha, his life turns upside down. "Please go out with me!" she exclaims happily when she first sees Kotarou. Misha claims to be an angel and insists on taking care of him when she finds out Kotarou doesn't have a mother. However, more often do we see her clinging to him (to the utter annoyance of Kotarou's childhood friend, Koboshi) than actually taking care of him. And with the entrance of the demon Shia, more strange things seem to happen. However, Kotarou tries his best to live his life and become a stronger person.

The manga consists of eight volumes and was adapted into an anime with 26 episodes, which aired from early April until late September 2002. Because the manga was finished later (in 2003), the anime took different turn of events, swaying off of the original story of the manga. While the anime is much more focused on, let's say, the good things of life, like friendship, the manga has a much deeper story and gives more indepth information about the characters.
