One day, somewhere around the end of April 2005, it seemed like everyone had his or her very own fanlistings collective. To be sure that she wouldn't be left behind, a girl decided she wanted to have one as well and thus a new creation was born.

In short, that's how Connected came to be. When I first build this collective, it housed only one fanlisting, so it was mostly for the fanlistings I joined, and to be 'a part of a rage'. At the time of writing, one and a half year later, I own 'only' seven fanlistings and have long abandonded the thought of wanting to be part of a big group. Now it's just a way of organizing fanlisting-related things on one site, while I can also experiment with my layout skills.

The name, Connected, was just thought of randomly. At the time, I thought that fanlistings connected people to their fandoms. I didn't want to use something like 'fanatical', because a lot of people already use that, so I just went with this :D
